Santa knew what he was doing when he brought these kiddos bikes for Christmas. They LOVE to ride. Weather permitting, they spend a lot of time doing just that. There is a track across the street from us that is the perfect place to go get some good exercise and fresh air.
A few weeks ago we traveled over to Auburn to go to the National Championship Celebration at the stadium. Sounds exciting, doesn't it? Brandon may have been the only one of us who felt it was.
I'm the first to admit that I'm no Auburn fan but it was windy, cold and B-O-R-I-N-G!
So, we high-tailed it out of there and headed for the bookstore, where Madeline got her coveted cheerleading costume and Eli scored an Aubie toy. M&E wanted to know why in the world people were throwing toilet paper on the trees because as Madeline put it, "Toilet paper is for wiping bottoms!"
The next day, Eli helped his daddy with some yard maintenance. Madeline and I took pictures and ate bon-bons.
Last night, it snowed... again. M&E were dying to get out in the white stuff, so we bundled up and headed out there this morning.
After two snow angels, both kiddos were covered in snow and cold, and this momma was freezing. We do live in Alabama after all, and appropriate snow gear we have not. Our house is toasty warm inside and the promise of hot chocolate was too much to resist!
